Insulation for Bathroom Walls: What Type?
The type of insulation used in bathrooms depends upon the climate where you live. For example, if your home is located in a hot area, then you would want to use a vapor retarder (a plastic sheeting) on the inside of the walls because it will keep water from evaporating through them.
